Kivia processes personal data for nutrition practitioners and their clients. This page explains what data we handle, why we need it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Who controls the data
For Kivia account data, contact Kivia Privacy Team at contact@dxynos.com. For client records created or managed by a practitioner, that practitioner acts as controller and Kivia acts as processor.
What data we collect
We store account details, client records, appointments, check-ins, intake forms, meal plans, secure messages, and support-request details.
Optional PostHog analytics only activate after cookie consent and are used for aggregate product-usage understanding.
Why we use it
We use data to provide the service, keep accounts secure, send account-related emails, support client follow-up workflows, and respond to support requests.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers inside the product.
Legal basis and retention
Main legal bases are contract performance, legal obligations, and consent where optional analytics cookies are used.
We retain data only as long as needed for service delivery, security, legal duties, and dispute handling. Erasure requests are reviewed against any retention obligations.
Your rights
You can request access, export, rectification, or erasure. The app includes a privacy area where logged-in users can submit GDPR requests.
